Games PGH was founded by Karen Keleher while working on a travel assignment. Most work orientations involve game playing for the purpose of remembering instructions.
Information that involves participation of the individual provides a sense of purpose. Instructions are recalled through association with other events and personal interaction and emotional connection or a feeling of ownership.
In January 2002 the concept of the game began while working in Pittsburgh PA. The health, safety and food service workers see a side of humanity not familiar to those who sleep at night.
In August 2002 the company continued it's development on the west coast. The first game was printed in Seattle WA Nov. 2002. Games PGH worked with Duquesne University SBDC for product development.
In February 2005 Games PGH consulted San Francisco Art Institute graduate Tommy Ong for the company logo and final art work.
In 2007 Tribal Dawn developed the computer playable version of the card game "Cafe".
